In September 2026, Boston Dynamics opened the RMAC centre at the Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America site near Savannah. According to the company, Atlas robots learn logistics tasks and automotive part sequencing there in a real environment. The centre serves training and validation ahead of wider deployment. [1][2]
